CBSE Date Sheet 2027 for Class 10 and 12
CBSE released the official date sheet on 6 November 2026. Board exams for both classes start on Tuesday, 16 February 2027. Every paper starts at 10:30 AM. Below are the dates of the main subjects, how many days you get before each one, and the full schedule for every subject.

How to use the gaps between papers
- Make a revision plan now: work backwards from each paper's date, and give the longest gaps to the subjects you find hardest.
- In the gap before a paper, revise from short notes, not the full textbook.
- Write at least two full previous year papers per subject in 3 hours with a clock, and check them with the solutions.
- Revise the high-weightage chapters first. Each PYQ chapter page shows how many marks the chapter carried in past papers.

When do CBSE board exams 2027 start?
Both Class 10 and Class 12 board exams start on Tuesday, 16 February 2027.
When do the Class 10 and Class 12 exams end?
Class 10 exams end on Tuesday, 9 March 2027. Class 12 exams end on Friday, 9 April 2027.
What time do CBSE board exams start?
Every paper starts at 10:30 AM. Most papers are 3 hours long and end at 1:30 PM; some skill and art subjects are 2 hours and end at 12:30 PM.
When is the Class 12 Physics exam?
Class 12 Physics is the first paper, on 16 February 2027. Chemistry is on 27 February, Mathematics on 9 March and Biology on 25 March.
When is the Class 10 Maths exam?
Class 10 Mathematics (Standard and Basic) is on 17 February 2027. Science is on 22 February and Social Science on 8 March.
